It is inherent flame retardant fabric. The flame retardant property is built in the modacrylic fiber, not from coating treatment.

The FR function will not be lost after repeated industrial washing. It is self-extinguishing away from flame. It forms protective char layer while burning, no melting and no dripping to avoid secondary burn injury. Blended with cotton, the fabric features good moisture absorption and breathability, soft and comfortable for long-time wearing.

It owns good tensile strength, abrasion resistance and stable color fastness. Low smoke emission, formaldehyde free. It complies with EN ISO 11612 / EN ISO 11611, widely used for welding suits and heat-resistant workwear. Plain or twill weave available, custom colors are acceptable.

Note: Its heat and arc protection performance is lower than aramid fabric. It is suitable for sparks and low heat radiation applications, not for fire rescue or heavy arc exposure.
